“We each possess a box of tools to address each decision and challenge we face. Whilst we are all expert in using those tools, we sometimes need to question what might be a more effective tool to use in each of those challenges”
Founder of the Pharos organization, Pat hails from a career in finance, having managed a major commercial branch of a UK clearing bank, which was recognised as a ‘show’ branch for effective management and leadership.
Pat embarked on a global journey of learning in 1989, investigating differing management styles in other countries and cultures, and studied what was then a new concept in the marketplace called ‘coaching’. From those experiences, Pat created a series of coaching programmes that have been used with outstanding success in many countries around the world. He has since coached many key players in such companies as BT, Unilever, Scottish Equitable, Blockbuster International, etc enabling those key players to attain a level of excellence. Pat is a Business Coach trainer and is recognised as such by the Association for Coaching

“You already possess everything you need to do even better than you are now - no matter how successful you already are”
For 30 years John has worked with people who own their own business and typically employ six to under 100 people. With them he has worked through the gamut of people development approaches, from team building to management by objective.
Although each business is unique in itself, there are productive patterns which can be transferred between businesses. It goes without saying, the correct skills, abilities, knowledge and procedures must be in place for success. However, without employee and management 'buy-in' changes and improvements will not be a successful as they could be. It's not just about plans and goal setting. There's more to it than that.
